Privacy Policy

We collect only the minimum data needed to run ScriptSlate:

• Account data — your email address when you sign up (managed by our auth provider, Supabase).
• Usage data — the number of generations you run per day, so we can enforce the free daily limits.
• Content you submit — topics, prompts and settings you type into the tools, used only to generate your result.
• Technical data — IP address (hashed for guest rate-limiting), browser type and approximate region for security and analytics.

Your data is used exclusively to operate and improve the service:

• Generating the scripts, titles and content you request
• Enforcing daily generation limits fairly across guests and accounts
• Keeping you signed in and remembering preferences such as theme
• Measuring aggregate performance so we can fix slow or broken features

We never use your prompts or generated content to train models, and we never sell your personal data to anyone.

We use a small number of cookies and local-storage entries:

• Authentication cookies — keep you signed in between visits (essential).
• Preference storage — remembers your light/dark theme choice.
• Analytics — if enabled, privacy-respecting, aggregate page-view measurement only.

You can clear these at any time in your browser settings; the tools continue to work as a guest.

ScriptSlate relies on a small set of infrastructure providers, each bound by their own privacy terms:

• Supabase — authentication and database hosting
• OpenRouter — AI model routing for text generation (prompts are processed to return your result, not stored by us)
• Hosting & CDN — serves the site securely over HTTPS

We share with these providers only what each one needs to function.

You can, at any time:

• Request a copy of the data associated with your account
• Ask us to correct or delete your account and its data
• Use the tools as a guest without creating an account at all

Usage counters reset daily and are not linked to generated content. If you delete your account, associated personal data is removed within 30 days.
