Refund Policy

ScriptSlate's core tools are free — every feature that generates text is available without payment, within daily limits. The optional Pro plan only raises those limits, removes ads and unlocks early access to new features. We encourage you to use the free tier thoroughly before deciding to upgrade.

If you subscribe to Pro and change your mind, you may request a full refund within 14 days of your first payment — no questions asked.

• Applies to your first subscription payment only, not renewals
• Refunds are issued to the original payment method
• Processing typically takes 5–10 business days depending on your bank

After 14 days, payments are non-refundable except where required by law. Instead of a refund, you can cancel at any time — your Pro benefits then continue until the end of the current billing period, and you are never charged again. There are no cancellation fees and no minimum commitment.

To request a refund or cancellation:

1. Contact us via the options in the site footer, from the email address on your account
2. Include your account email and, for refunds, the approximate payment date
3. We confirm receipt within 2 business days and process eligible refunds immediately after

You can also cancel instantly yourself from the Billing page in your workspace — no email needed.

We reserve the right to decline refunds in clear cases of abuse — for example, repeated subscribe-and-refund cycles, or accounts suspended for violating our Terms of Service. This never affects a genuine first-time refund request within the window.
